Warning: This review contains spoilers for episode seven of Survivor: Caramoan. If you haven’t seen the episode yet, you can check it out at CBS.com
This week’s episode of Survivor: Caramoan was officially titled ‘Tubby Lunchbox,’ but here at The Lindus List, I like to rename episodes based on the strategic themes presented by the players. As such, I am calling episode seven of Survivor: Caramoan “The Curious Case of Specialist Sheppard.”

It has been a magical week here at The Lindus List. This week, I joined the Movie Bears Podcast in a review of The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, and in keeping with the spirit of that film, I’ll be reaching into my hat and pulling out a rabbit… or perhaps, a few turkeys… with this week’s episode of Survivor: Caramoan. Episode six may officially be titled ‘Operation Thunder,’ but we’re going to rename it ‘The Reappearing Act.’

Episode five of Survivor: Caramoan was officially titled ‘Persona Non Grata,’ but we may as well call it, ‘Holy shit, did you see what Brandon did this week?’ This week, Brandon Hantz flipped out on his tribe, wrecked their food supply, and left Survivor in a blaze of magnificent, destructive glory. His behavior was so offensive to his tribe that the Favorites forfeited final immunity to get rid of Brandon, who threw a tantrum at the impromptu tribal council and was immediately taken out of the game. That’s really what we’re here to talk about today, right kids? Read the rest of this entry »

I’m not a psychic. I don’t have special powers, I’m not a clairvoyant, and my ability to read tea leaves is mediocre, at best. During this week’s episode of Survivor: Caramoan, of of the themes in tribal council was predicting the future, and it made me stop and think: in a game like Survivor, is it possible to predict the future? I would wager that most of the players, assumedly ‘fans’ of the game (per the theme of the season) should be able to leverage knowledge of seasons passed to advance themselves in the game. Unfortunately, most are playing a game so rooted in the present that they aren’t able to anticipate their next moves.
Never fear, though! This week, I’m going to grab my crystal ball, my tarot cards, and my understanding of Survivor to help predict the future for some of the remaining castaways. Read the rest of this entry »
Warning: This review contains spoilers for episode three of Survivor: Caramoan. If you haven’t seen the episode yet, you can check it out at CBS.com.
Episode 3 of Survivor: Caramoan was officially titled ‘There’s Gonna Be Hell To Pay,’ but it may as well have been called, ‘Same Shit, Different Week.’ Let’s compare this episode to the previous two episodes of the season. We have Phillip acting goofy, Andrea too aggressive for her own good, Shamar imploding, Reynold proving that he is better at ring toss challenges than Malcolm, Sherri micromanaging Shamar, and a generic, forgettable blond goes home. Nothing we haven’t seen already this season. Move along, nothing to see here, maybe there will be something more exciting next week.

Warning: This blog post is a review of Episode One of Survivor: Caramoan, and is chock full of spoilers. If you haven’t watched the episode yet… what are you waiting for? Go check it out at CBS.com and come back when you’re done!
Bwahahahahah! Just like that, the first episode of Survivor: Caramoan is in the bag, and Francesca Hogi earns the notoriety of being the first person to come in last place twice. In my cast analysis, I wished/prayed/begged for Francesca to be the first person booted this season for the sake of my own personal amusement. With that item checked off my bucket list, I turn my attention to the many other great offerings this season has in store. Read the rest of this entry »
On February 13, 2013, the 26th season of Survivor premieres. On Survivor: Caramoan, ten Survivor fans will be pitted again ten returning castaways from previous seasons. But there can be only one ultimate Survivor who walks away with the one million dollar prize. Will the castaways stick to their original tribes? Will some of the fans and favorites work together to get themselves closer to the end? With this cast of characters, who knows?
In this installment of The Lindus List, I’ll be reviewing the ten returning castaways. Next week, I’ll give the ten newbies the same treatment. Read the rest of this entry »
